Bonogin Valley Community Association (Inc).

Dear Bonogin residents,

In the past you may have expressed interest in membership of the Bonogin Valley Community Association (Inc)

You may even have attended meeting recently, however we have not completed the paperwork necessary to include you as a member.

As you may know, a group of concerned residents have been meeting recently to reconvene the Association and sort out some of the paperwork neglected whilst the Association was inactive. We have re-established an acting executive committee which will be formally commended to members at our next AGM (expected to be in July). At this meeting voting will also take place for others who would like to be involved in the committee.

We recently co-ordinated a “Meet the Candidates” event for the March Council election and have established a working relationship with the Council department responsible for the Bonogin Road redevelopment. We have commenced regular correspondence with Cr Ted Shepherd to further establish our influence in matters pertaining to our community.

We are planning an AGM in July and an upcoming social event to encourage membership and awareness of issues affecting the Bonogin community. Should you still be interested in making a difference in the Bonogin community and showing your support for the Association please contact me for a membership form you can post to us with a cheque for $10 (per person) for ‘Membership of the Association’ for financial year 2008/2009. Should you decide to utilise direct deposit rather than cheque as a method of payment please include your surname in the funds transfer.
